Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ’s

Booking

  • WEDDINGS: You should be giving yourself anywhere from 12-18 months when booking bridal makeup! Waiting last minute for this will allow others to book for your date! I book on a “first come first serve” basis. I require a $100 non-refundable deposit and completed Bridal Contract to secure your date! If both are not recieved by me, your date will not be secured.

NON-WEDDINGS: Try and give yourself a couple of months to secure your appointment time. I require a 50% deposit for event makeup when booking your appointment.

  • It is definitely preferred to have a finalized list of people receiving services. Try to have a finalized count as you get closer to your event, and when your timeline for the day is complete!

  • I only offer Makeup Services. However, I have many contacts for hairstylists in the area that I would be more than happy to pass along to you!

Bridal trials

  • Bridal Trial’s are only provided to those who have officially booked with me, meaning the contract and deposit are recieved. Bridal trials are not meant to “test” your MUA out. If you are looking to do that/see how your MUA works, book a regular makeup application with that professional.

  • I usually reccomend booking your trial around 3 months prior to your wedding. I know that seems risky but a lot of things can change (hair color, sefl-tanner,your makeup vision, etc) The closer it is to the wedding, the fresher it will be in both of our minds. This also gives you time to prep your skin and make sure everything is ready for your big day!

  • Bridal trials normally take anywhere from 1 - 2 hours depending on the look you have chosen! I like to take my time and really perfect the look you are aiming for! This also gives us time to chat and get to know each other!

While I personally prefer to have a 1 on 1 session for your trial, You are more than welcome to have someone accompany you to your bridal trial.

  • Yes of course! Anyone ht is receiving services for your day is welcome to book a trial! Please note that it is an additioal cost per person receiving a tral!

day of wedding/travel

  • Yes, I am an on-site Makeup Artist and can travel to you for your wedding day! Please note, that there may be a travel fee for accomadating this!

  • No! You are paying me for my product knowledge, expertise in bridal makeup, and my fully stocked makeup kit. I do not require any one to bring anything! I only prefer to apply products from my own kit. I am aware how everything layers, and works together. Using something outside of my kit could affect the turn out of your makeup application. I do not wat the results to come out not as I inteded because of this!

  • Each application can take up to anywhere from 45 min to an hour! The more intricate the makeup look, the longer the application takes!

products used

  • I do offer airbrush application along with traditional makeup application! There is a price difference between the two. The choice is up to you, it’s all about preference!

  • Lashes are included in the cost for all services! The price does not change if the person chooses not to get lashes! Most of the time, after seeing everyone elses lashes, that person will want them as well! I use a wide variety of indivdual/cluster lashes so we can make them as glam or natural as you would like!

  • Please let me know of any concerns/allergies you may have prior to the bridal trial! This will ensure that nothing goes wrong the day of trial or the day of the wedding! I will also ask everyone in the bridal party/receiving services if they have any concerns/allergies!
